It's been a while ... & Family Trees

Getting back in touch with my Blogs after a few weeks of depression & not feeling like doing anything at all!   It's awful to have  'off time'  like this & not knowing what you ~ or anyone around you ~ can do to help.   Sometimes you just need to sit it out, but seems like an awful waste of days & nights, doesn't it?   Of course I should read my own therapeutic 'My Pages' to help get better, shouldn't I?

I did manage to get myself quite motivated & into forming a Family Tree on my Mother's side, after being enthused by my Cousin creating his 230 page Family Tree on my Father's side.   

Was potentially interesting searching for where our Ancestors came from & when they left their English Shires to sail to New Zealand.   My version is a shorter Tree but I found as many relatives & their birth~dates, birth~places, eventual marriages & sometimes deaths where I could.    Loved posting these (1st drafts) off to family yesterday ~ at least it was an achievement.
