Almost December & the year's end
Feel I have almost completed our quite long list of things to do before we go!
Just glad that I started in October!
After a lovely family Christmas (in 2 venues) & my recent birthday over 2 days,
it has been quite hectic.
Love the concept of buying chosen stores' Gift $$ cards as presents ~
easy to buy ~ everyone gets what they want ~ less stress all round!
The no~gift wrapping is a big plus, too.
Early January we fly out to N Z with Auckland family wedding 7 January.
Enjoy the rest of month holidaying & seeing family & friends, then Murray flies back home.
I stay for most of February, during which time my sister, Marion & I leave for our very overdue 50 year 'childhood revisited' journey together to the South Island where we spent our early years.
We visit Queenstown, hotel stay ~ day tour to Milford Sound ~ drive to Invercargill,
stay with relations & meet cousins & more family ~
~ drive to Alexandra, visit our parents' grave & stay B & B ~
~ drive to Wanaka & stay backpackers at Lakeside camp ~
~ drive Arrowtown, stay ex~police station renovated hotel ~
(hope they are Licensed!!)
~ drive Queenstown & fly back to North Island.
